How do I get started?

Call me at (916) 224-3474! We can discuss shoot dates, locations, wardrobe, and anything else on your mind!

 

What do I wear?

Color looks great in photos! I recommend pops of complimentary colors (rather than matching your outfit with the other people in the session). For example, if you are wearing a yellow cardigan, have your partner pair it with a blue shirt. Stay clear of busy patterns and brand logos. Above all, dress in a way that YOU find comfortable – it truly translates in the final shots. If you have any question regarding styling or wardrobe choice, feel free to discuss them with me.

 

How long will my session be?

I like to plan on 90 minutes to make sure that you have enough to time to relax and get into it! If your session includes children, those first 30 minutes are the most important (before a meltdown happens!) but the shoot can last up to two hours.

 

Where will the session be?

I know various locations across the Sacramento, Citrus Heights, and Roseville areas that are great for photos. We can discuss what type of feel you'd like to capture in your photos (natural or urban) or you can let me pick my favorite!

 

How many people can be in my family photo session?

Big groups are a bit more complicated, so let me know if your group includes more than six people.

 

When will my photos be available?

Within two weeks after your shoot date, I will mail you a high-resolution disc containing 15-20 professionally edited images. If you prefer to a digital download of your images, that can be arranged! I only choose the best of the best to edit and share with you!

When do I pay for my session?

Session fees are due the day of your photo shoot – I accept checks or cash. Please make checks payable to Lisa McGlone.
